I’m Brian Hebets. Born and raised in San Diego, CA and have been painting like a mad man ever since I was a kid. Everything from landscapes, sharks, movies and graffiti have always been the roots to my inspiration. I love this shit. Been working hard to master the craft through 25 plus years of studying Fine-art, new techniques and continuous experiments to be the artist you see today. I’ve exhibited work in galleries throughout Southern California all the way to Artbasel in Miami. Along with that, I’ve teamed up with non-profit organizations such as Pangeaseed Foundation, Seawalls: Murals for Oceans, Surfrider Foundation and Cohort Collective painting large scale murals depicting today's Environmental and Marine life issues.
When i'm not painting, my ass is out fishing..or trying to at least. There's no other place I’d rather be than out on the water. It provides me the best opportunities to further study the fruits of Mother Nature up close and personal. Lighting, colors, elements and the marine life in its natural habitat. While visually gaining knowledge and experience from being offshore, it helps drive my creative engine to further enhance my work. My passion for expressing the raw natural beauty of our planets marine life will forever keep me pushing the boundaries of art. This is me, this is what i'm about and i'm honored to share my life's work with you all! I live for this shit. Cheers!
